Victoria Montesinos
Victoria Montesinos is the only daughter of the well-known Mexican movie director, Fernando A. Rivero. In the mid-1990's, Victoria signed new contracts to work with various galleries in the United States. From her Manhattan studio, Victoria decided to make flowers her only focus of attention. "I really wanted to explore and go inside their world, find all the textures, layers and passages of just one flower. They are all small universes. I feel captured by their beauty. Flowers are an incredible way for nature to show the infinity of existing colors." Montesinos executes her ideas brilliantly through her magnificent brush, great skill, and abundant creative passion. |

Her influences have been the European and American painters of the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries, including Turner, Whistler, and Redon, and the styles of Romanticism, Symbolism, and the Hudson River School.
An autodidact, Georgeana honed her artistic skills with various classes under master artists, extensive research, and sheer discipline. Recent travels to art museums in Russia, Italy, France, Prague, Vienna, and London have influenced her work immensely.

Manaz
Influenced by tenets of romanticism and aesthetics, Manaz’ works convey her abiding belief in the spiritual renewal that takes place when confronted by pure beauty. The symbolic expression that portrays this view is the beauty of women. Women as maiden, sister, lover, wife, and mother. Women in harmony with the natural world as well as the realm of fantasy.
Manaz brings to life beautiful feminine faces and figures, delicately detailed and surrounded by luxuriant flora, adorned by billowing robes and strands of golden ribbon. As the viewer pauses before the canvas, each lovely face will tell a story. |
